About Ush
Ush has over 10 years’ experience working for a range of large private sector companies as well as government agencies. She has obtained specialist qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Executive Coaching and Mediation. Through the People Builders Associate Program, Ush is also a certified Social + Emotional Intelligence Coach and Trainer, Extended DISC Practitioner and i4 Neuroleader Trainer.

Her favourite area of coaching Social + Emotional Intelligence is running workshops around personal power and resilience. She says, “I love how people walk away from the workshop feeling empowered, especially when they have invested focused time in the session recalling their achievements. In this busy world, it is not often that we can go to a workshop that actually allocates some time for self-reflection and then take away the tools to we need to remove the roadblocks and get the results we want.” She really loves coaching self-awareness as this is where the biggest revelations come from. Many of our clients have told her that once they complete the training and coaching that they feel as if a light has been switched on inside of them.

As an Associate Partner with People Builders, Ush is focused on helping larger organisations become aware of the benefits of increasing Social + Emotional Intelligence in the workplace. This has already provided her with the opportunity to run many training and coaching programs across the Australia Pacific region. She also speaks and runs panels on how Social + Emotional Intelligence is vital in the future of work and how that will look. Ush was recently honoured with the opportunity to spread the Social +Emotional Intelligence message to delegates from 130 countries at the World Human Resources Development Congress in Mumbai, India.

Using the proven People Builders process of Evaluate, Engage, Educate and Empower, Ush first creates self awareness by using the Social + Emotional Intelligence profile to evaluate the current reality. She then engages each individual in what they need to change and then shows them how to do so. Ush feels the SEIP® is a fantastic tool to educate and coach them through incremental increase in the competencies that they need to develop.

Her aim is to help businesses and individuals understand how Social + Emotional Intelligence plays a key role in our future and wants to lead the way in educating people on a global scale. Ush is also taking on a leadership role at People Builders to train and develop more people to help us spread this vital message to all parts of the world.
